This workshop is for postdoctoral fellows and advanced graduate students. The purpose is to begin or continue the process of developing portfolios that will be deemed competitive for consideration for faculty positions. We want to make sure that you are preparing yourselves with the background that the faculty search committees are seeking. If there are gaps, we will work with you to provide professional development opportunities throughout the next year so that you can have a portfolio that includes a good mix of teaching, current research, research forecasting, information about research resources and facilities, mentoring, and connections to colleagues.
This is a working session. All participants should come prepared with a CV (even if it hasn't been updated), and a laptop.
