The Faculty Development Center (FDC) invites all graduate students and postdocs interested in a teaching career to attend the following event. To do so, please register directly in the FDC website:

How can faculty collaborate to build programs that scaffold student learning, align learning opportunities, and measure and improve that learning? Curriculum mapping offers a visual tool to collectively analyze and address these challenges. Join us for a kinesthetic, hands-on mapping experience to create a shared vision for student learning across courses and programs. Participants will have the opportunity to engage the embodied curriculum mapping experience to think through how their programs help students to achieve the learning outcomes.
In this session, we’ll explore to Challenge 3, where we help you apply curriculum mapping techniques to your own programs and courses.
Lunch will be provided to all registered participants, please click “Going” at the FDC link provided to reserve your seat for this session. Please email fdc@umbc.edu to note any dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, food allergies, etc.) by Monday, March 23.
