Career Center at UMBC is hosting a event this Monday, February 15th at Noon that focuses on the importance of networking to build up your future career, particularly for students from underserved communities (Hispanics/Latinx, Blacks/African Americas, Native Hawaiians, Native Americas, Pacific Islanders).

Building strategic relationships is important for career success, and for people of color and other underrepresented groups it is critical. Please join, Camille Franklin, Director of Talent Experience and Strategic Programs for a discussion on the importance of strategic relationships such as mentors and sponsors, and how to cultivate and develop those relationships. Camille has been helping early career professionals launch and grow their careers for over 20 years. She brings experience from higher education and the corporate sector, having worked as companies such as Booz Allen Hamilton, Northrup Grumman, and now GDIT.
